When David won the Radio Times Drama Award in 1985, he had to face up to the fact that he was a writer. Fate was now a blank page staring back at him, blankly. David writes from the heart, scribbling away in his large attic room that’s bursting with cowboys, cruise liners, his Apple laptop and Cisco the hungry cat. Inspired by everyone from Gogol and Cezanne to Bob Dylan, David is currently reading Shakespeare’s sonnets while writing.
